On an inspiring evening, Tabor 100 held its 23rd Annual Gala, celebrating a remarkable 25 years of dedicated service and community upliftment under the theme “We rise by lifting others.” The event was a testament to our shared commitment to empowering individuals and fostering economic development in our community.
The gala featured a series of engaging events designed to raise funds and honor achievements. The evening began with our much-anticipated Raise the Paddle segment, where generous contributions flowed in to support essential training and programming at Tabor 100 and the Tabor Economic Development Hub. The Live Auction and Dessert Dash added a spirited touch, inviting attendees to bid on exciting items such as a 6-night safari getaway for two while indulging in delicious treats many made by local bakeries and sweet shops.
A highlight of the night was a powerful fireside chat with our distinguished guest speakers, Lonnie Ali, widow of the legendary Muhammad Ali, and Joanne Harrell, Seattle’s First Lady. Their heartfelt discussion resonated deeply, reflecting on the importance of community support and the power of resilience.
In addition to these enriching moments, we proudly announced this year’s scholarship winners, celebrating the achievements and potential of our outstanding students. The evening also honored remarkable community leaders with the presentation of the Crystal Eagle Awards, recognizing those who have made significant contributions to our mission. Among the recipients, Governor Jay Inslee was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Bruce Harrell was inducted into Tabor 100’s Legacy Hall of Fame, both reflecting the profound impact of their leadership.
As we looked back on the milestones of Tabor 100 over the past 25 years, it was clear that the evening was not just a celebration of our history, but a reaffirmation of our commitment to the future. The successes we’ve achieved together inspire us to continue lifting others and making a difference in our community.
Thank you to all who joined us in this celebration, and to our sponsors and partners whose generosity makes our work possible. Together, we rise.
