Goals of the program

Tabor 100 is making it easier for small business owners to get funding by offering low-interest loans with fewer requirements than traditional banks. These loans are designed to help you free up cash, pay down debt, and build better credit.

  • Business owners who want to build credit with our partner banks (Tapco or Evergreen)
  • Business owners who don’t qualify for regular bank loans
  • Business owners looking for a character-based loan (not a traditional bank loan)
  • Business owners who operate or do business within the state of Washington
  • Black, Latine, or Native American communities
  • Businesses outside of Washington State
  • Non business owners
  • Businesses primarily engaged in political or lobbying activities
  • Businesses that restrict patronage for any reason other than legal requirements
  • Licensed Cannabis or Liquor Operations
  • Businesses engaged in any predatory activity such as high cost/high interest rent-to-own businesses and check cashing businesses (see FAQ for additional examples)
  • Business owners who have already received a loan through a Tabor 100 loan program

Please note that we review and select businesses in waves, typically once per quarter. While we don’t have an exact timeline for when selections will be made, we will follow up with applicants via email once a decision is made. If your business is not selected during the current wave, we encourage you to reapply. If you have already received a loan through our program please do not apply again as you will not be awarded another loan. Our goal is to support as many businesses as possible.

* If you are in urgent need of funding, please be sure to clearly explain the reason in your application.
