This PEMCO Scholarship Program is one of several scholarship programs hosted and operated by the Tabor 100 organization. Our supporting partner in this program is PEMCO Insurance Company, in collaboration with Seattle University.

The Scholarship is intended for high school students admitted to Seattle University, in the amount of $900 per year, renewable, with a total amount not to exceed $3,600.

The primary guidelines are presented below:

a. The candidate shall be an African American student, enrolling as a freshman in the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University.

b. The candidate shall have a track record of high academic achievement and/or potential.

c. The candidate should be in clear financial need.

d. The candidate's personal history and actions should be consistent with Tabor 100's mission:

"Tabor 100 is an association of entrepreneurs and business advocates who are committed to economic power, educational excellence and social equity for African-Americans and the community at large."

Candidates will be recommended to Tabor 100 by the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University, and a committee will review all of the applications, selecting a final recipient to be announced at the annual Gala in September.
